Itinerary

The exact itinerary will be kept flexible to account for the weather and traffic conditions. We will optimize our time for the best possible photography. The itinerary below is just an example of what you can expect. If we shoot the night skies, we will likely skip sunrise the following morning.

Day 1: We will pick you up at Las Vegas International Airport no later than 4pm and then check in our hotel. In the evening, we will have an orientation. We will cover many techniques you will be using during the workshop and discuss the itinerary in detail.

​

Day 2：After breakfirst, we will drive to Zion National Park and check in to a nearby hotel. And then we will go out to capture the classic sunset and sunrise of Zion National Park.

​

Day 3: After sunrise photography session in Zion National Park and having breakfirst in our hotel, we will drive to Page. After checking our hotel, we will go out to shoot the sunset at Lower Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend that day.

 

Day 4: Shoot the Upper Antelope Valley in morning. After lunch, drive to Monument Valley to capture the sunset. Shoot the sunrise the next day. When the weather is clear at night, you can take night photography.

Day 5: After sunrise session of shooting Monument Valley, we will drive to Farmington of New Mexico. 

​

Day 5-6: We will have 2 days to explore the badlands of New Mexico that are truly astonishing, with whimsical hoodoos, jagged spires, arches, fossils, and much more! The incredible diversity here will get your creative juices flowing. Dates are timed for optimal Milky Way shooting. Expect to do lots of night photography as long as skies are clear!

Day 7-8: Drive to Moab, Utah. 2 days to enjoy shooting the arches sunrise, sunset and starry sky in Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park in Utah, USA.

​

Day 9: Drive to Bryce Canyon to photograph sunset, sunrise. If the sky is clear, you may take night photography.

​

Day 10: We wake up for our final sunrise at Bryce Canyon, we start our return journey toward to the Las Vegas airport.  We reluctantly say goodbye to all the new friends we have made! 

​

***Please book the return ticket after 4pm,  And book the arrival ticket before 12pm to arrive at Las Vegas International Airport.

When we get to home, we will set up a zoom class schedule for photo critique and Post-Processing Inspiration and Instruction.
