Itinerary

The exact itinerary will be kept flexible to account for the weather and road conditions. We will optimize our time for the best possible photography. The itinerary below is just an example of what you can expect. If we shoot the night skies, we will likely skip sunrise the following morning.

Our photography workshop schedul is arranged very tight. In addition to shooting sunrises and sunsets, there are often scenic spots to shoot in between if we do not have a long drive to our next destination. Due to the weather conditions we cannot go out to shoot, we will have post-processing inspiration, instruction seminar or photo critique.

Day 1: We will pick you up at Calgary International Airport. no later than 1pm and then check in our hotel. Afterwards we will go out for sunset shooting. In the evening, we will have an orientation. We will cover many techniques you will be using during the workshop and discuss the itinerary in detail.

Day 2: We will have sunrise and sunset shooting around Banff town.

Day 3: After shooting Castle Mountain sunrise, we will move our hotel to the Lake Louise Village. In the afternoon we will drive to Emerald Lake for evening photography. On the way to there we will have Natural Bridge to shoot.

Day 4: We will shoot the scenic spots around Lake Louise for sunrise and sunset, including Morant's Curve.

Day 5: We will have morning photography session of Lake Louse and then drive for Abraham Lake(the buble lake）sunset shooting.

Day 6-7: We will have 2 days photography on the buble lake. You will have a lot of chances to learn focus stacking techniques and expouse brackets。

Day 7：After our sunrise shooting session on buble lake, we will drive for Jasper National Park. We will have our sunset shooting on our way to our hotel in the town of Jasper National Park.

Day 8: Photo shooting the scenic spots in Jasper National Park.

Day 9: We will drive back to the town of Canmore. On the way to the South, we will have one scenic spot to shoot. In the evening, we will shoot the Three Sister Peak in Canmore for sunset.

Day 10: If time permits, we will have sunrise photography session. and then we will drive you back to the airport to say goodby.

***Please book the return ticket after 4pm, And book the arrival ticket before 12pm to arrive at Calgary International Airport.
